How does Laser Tattoo removal work?

The laser is attracted to the dark pigment. Our laser tattoo removal will break down the tattoo into particles which the body immune system will naturally and safely remove for it to be flushed away.

Before treatment, a patch test is performed to assess the skin reaction to the laser and determine the most effective energy for treatment.

During the treatment

The treatment itself consists of placing a hand piece against the surface of the skin and activation the laser light. (As many clients describe it) each laser shot feels like snapping of a rubber band against the skin.

Smaller tattoo require fewer pulses while larger one require more.

The tattoo requires several treatments. At each treatment the tattoo should become progressively lighter.

After the treatment

Immediately following the treatment, an ice pack is applied to sooth the area and cooling aloe vera gel.  A patch will be used to protect the sight. Sun blocker to be used when out in the sun.
